Solid post and I agree with most everything. The only thing I disagree with is the fact that effeminate/metro/emo/hipster guys are not getting girls. I’ve known plenty of guys like that who get attractive girls in their niche, just as I’ve known plenty of traditionally masculine, gym bodied, square-jawed guys who get attractive girls. The latter group just tends to self select for more confidence and aggressiveness when it comes to females.
As most here should know, whatever your particular niche, the biggest difference maker is not your particular ‘look’ (unless you are a fat neck-beard), but rather your confidence, ability to approach and ability to lead.

I do think there are men who seem naturally more effeminate. I see a lot of these”hipster” looking guys at colleges these days. It’s not that women find them sexy, but they are easy to make friends with. At least that’s what my daughter says.
