You want women to be telling you they are available without your having to stick your neck out. I know there is a school of thought that says a man should never force a woman to explain any relationships she might be having with other men. They often say this is irrelevant knowledge because “all women will cheat on their man if the right alpha seduces them”. But those who subscribe to this are, IMHO, delusional because: 1) Not asking denies you the power of forcing women to qualify themselves as “available” (if a woman likes you, she will lie about her man or say “but he is on a business trip”) and 2) It feeds on the fallacy that women who are dating or married to alphas are still easily seducable by other alphas (according to evolutionary biologists, they’ve invested in his seed and are not available until he dumps them 3 years from now) and 3) Because so many women tend to stupidly give out their phone numbers to all askers and then flake when they get called by those askers, it will save a man from getting flaked on himself if he qualifies a woman on her relationship status before and during the number close.
